Can anyone install a satellite TV system?
Our advice is to use a professional satellite installation company. Many of our customers are DIY enthusiasts but they come back to us after trying to do the installations themselves. Our satellite installation charges are quite affordable and you will have good time watching your favourite satellite TV channel rather than dealing with complicated technical issues.
Is it possilbe to install the satellite dish inside my house or flat?
In order to receive the satellite signal, the dish must have a direct line of sight to the south either directlly or through a large-enough window.
If you live in a flat where you are not allowed to install the satellite dish in the outside, then it can be installed inside but the satellite signal may degrade because of that. Our site survey service can give more information regarding home satellite installation in restricted buildings.
Can I watch the satellite television channels in more than one room in my house?
Watching the same satellite TV channel in more than one room is not an issue. However, if you want to be able to watch different satellite TV channels in different rooms then Megasat satellite installations can help.
Do I need planning permission to install a sattellite dish?
First, if you are a tenant or a leaseholder, then the owner's consent is usually needed. Also, please consult the Government's paper titled: Installation of satellite television dishes: householder's planning guide for more information about the installation of satellite dishes in houses, flats, listed buildings, etc in England and Wales.
Can you install a Sky digital system?
Megasat is not a Sky TV agent. As such it costs more to use our services for the purpose of installing Sky TV systems. Nevertheless we do offer private Sky installations which are only viable if Sky agents cannot complete installations for various reasons. Please only contact us after confirming that Sky agents cannot install Sky system for you.
I can no longer watch Arabic ART channels on Sky. Can you help?
Megasat can install and supply a satellite system specifically for receiving Arab Radio Television network channels, commonly known as ART. Our satellite offer #4 is suitable for receiving ART channels and many more on the Hotbrid satellite.
